Clean green

This month our stylists have created this look while they were working on the styling of a Scandinavian inspired setting. Sometimes, taking a step back and looking at what we are doing and how we are working can give a new idea. That is how we took this bird’s eye view photo while preparing for our look. We have chosen a simple and clean style with green accents inspired by the Spring greens. The simplicity in this look has a chic undertone with lush velvets and extrinsic patterns.

Colour palette

The colours in this month’s look are calm and neutral tones. Crème and green shades are combined with warm earth tones. These colours complement each other and create a simple, chic vibe in clean lines resulting in a comfortable and relaxed look. Natural materials like the Sisal hemp carpet and textured fabrics are complimentary to the grey cemented floor and bring a rustic balance to the look.

Styling Tips:

Green is a versatile colour that adds life to the interior in a relaxing way. Add green highlights to your interior to freshen it up. Use crème and earth tones in abundance to bring a balance to the vibrancy of green.

Indoor plants not only add that flash of colour but also has air purifying properties. Choose beautiful leafy plants to add a touch of nature in your interiors.

Less is more in this look, keep the interior decluttered with minimal use of accessories and decorative element. Let the colours and the materials do the talking.

Use layers of textures and patterns to add dimension to your interiors. Kobe’s Senses and Plains & Basics Collection offer a range of textures and patterns to create this simple, clean look.

Natural materials sawn wood, wool and reed are very on trend for this look. Use of soft lush velvets like Volterra on your furniture will add that element of softness and comfort.

Adding organic forms like a round dining table adds softness to this look. Organic forms breaks the linearity and sharp lines in the room.

Light is important to this look. If you don’t have enough day light, make sure you have a good lighting plan for your room.
